What a mouthful....  That new Calista hair styler.  Pretty easy instruction.  Then comes the hard part, styling your hair.  I think you can only do this small fingertips full of hair at a time.  I've already accidentally styled my hair to flip up.  Don't want that.  I want it to be smooth.  I wash my hair tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes.  I decided to keep the at the recommended 350 degrees.  I don't have something to rest it on though.  I decided to use an oven proof mat for it to sit on.  This will be a little harder as I have short hair right now.  Got it cut the other day.  I don't have the other rival name styles like this.  So it will be a learning curb for me.

Thank you for the review. I was wondering how everyone like theirs. I thought about it, but then decided against it. I will be anxious to know how you like yours once you've worked with it for a couple of days. Please give us another review after the learning curve.

I thought the instructions were a little short on instructions. It will be a learning curve for me as well. I have no talent with hair.

Some changes with the styler.  I got a heat proof pad to lay the styler on it.  I getting a rat tail comb (I have a regular comb)  that will help picking up a inch of hair.  My biggest problem is the straightening the hair in the back.  My plan was to continue using the Calista heating brush, then the styler to smooth the hair.  Did a little bit better today.  Ended up with nothing sticking up in the air. Next attempt is Monday when I next wash my hair.

For those looking for tips how to use this, it looks very similar if not the exact same as the L'ange Le Duo.  Google L'ange Le Duo stying videos for some tips on how to use.  There are also a number of influencers on various social media platforms who demonstrate using it.  If you are on FB search L'ange and some influencers will pop up with videos styling their hair.  L'ange is a wealth of info for tips on using all styling tools.

I received mine yesterday! I had to try it out immediately. It is different than an iron and I am learning how to get the waves. So far I really like it because it smooths my horrible coarse hair, yet puts waves in for shape- My iron just leaves it straight and falling on my face- Hope it's a keeper for all!

I love reading what everyone thinks too!  I am excited to get mine, probably won't get it till Tuesday now since I don't think there is mail on Monday.   It is sitting at the post office,  I wish they would let me pick it up so I could practice all weekend! hahahahaha
