I've been reading many reviews and forums about Ojon's new mist, and after having tried it myself, I think most of us are in agreement that the new formula is terrible! I've been frustrated for months looking for a replacement and wasted lots of money in the process
I tried leave-ins, oils, all kinds of shampoos/conditioners, and nothing made my hair look, feel, or smell as good as the old Revitalizing Mist. So anyway, I am very excited about a product I started using recently and decided to share it with you all! I have never participated in any forum, but seeing how many of you are so frustrated with Ojon's reformulated products, I figured you might benefit from this. So the product that I am using and loving is Bumble and Bumble's Tonic Lotion.
Here's how it compares to the Revitalizing Mist:
The reasons I loved Ojon's Mist is because it detangled my hair after using any shampoo, conditioner. It was like a magical elixir that enhanced the performance of any shampoo or conditioner. At times when I was trying to save money, I used to use cheaper shampoo/conditioner, and the mist would make up for it. It made my hair manageable and soft, without weighing it down or making it too flat. In fact, it would add body and movement to my hair, and made it smell so good!
I wanted to find a product that would do at least some of those things, but nothing seemed to work. Some products made my hair feel too greasy, while others dried it out and made it break more. I've been trying BB's Tonic Lotion with different shampoos/conditioners, just to see if it will do its job, and it really has so far! It detangles my hair, just like Ojon's old mist, makes it soft and gives it great body and movement. My hair feels healthier and stronger. Also, I'm looking at the ingredient list, and there doesn't seem to be anything bad in it, mostly conditioners and oils. It has tea tree in it, and the directions say to spray it all over your hair, as well as the scalp. I usually don't add anything to my scalp after washing my hair because I don't want any build up or greasiness, but this works great! The scent is tea tree-ish, minty, which I like - smells clean and makes your hair feel clean, while conditioning it.
Just an FYI, I got it from Sephora, and I got the on-the-go size, which is 2 ounces and it costs 7 bucks. I watched some youtubes and read reviews that said not to buy the Target or Amazon versions, because they are watered down. I didn't want to take the chance, so I went to Sephora. So anyway, I think you should give it a try and see if it works for you as well as it has for me! Good luck!
