Last week I wrote about receiving 4 bottles of SAM mousse that had leaked during shipment.
Last night in the shower, I was using my WEN comb from the 8oz remoist mask/comb duo from Chaz's last show. Well, the comb snapped in two (at the thinner part).
HELLOOOOOO- I AM TOTALLY WEN-CURSED!!!!!
Customer service did give me a partial refund, though.
Has anybody else been WEN-cursed recently or is it just me?

I'm sorry you had 2 things happen so close together. Sorry, but I've never had a problem with any of my WEN shipments or containers and I've been using WEN for 8 yrs. Just to maybe reassure you that what's happened to you isn't the norm.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that you've has a bit of bad luck with your Wen shipments.
You might give the customer service department at Chaz Dean's salon a call (323-467-6444) and let them know what happened to your comb. You'd just received the comb in the duo set, so it really shouldn't have broken like that (not to mention that it could have had a more dangerous outcome). They really need to be aware of this mishap. The people at Chaz's salon are very nice and maybe they can help you out.
Last December, there was this 4-piece 613 kit that I really wanted because it included travel sizes of the SC and mousse. I'm limited on space in my bathroom, so having small bottles of products is really helpful. Well, I purchased it during the Wen show, but when I checked later somehow it had gotten waitlisted. They kept me on waitlist for about two months and then they notified me that they were sending it to me (not gift-boxed, but that didn't matter). I was so surprised because I didn't think I had any chance of receiving the set.
The travel-sized SC and mousse work so well in my bathroom. lol, I wish I had ordered an extra set. I should have known better!!

I'm sorry you're having a rough time of it. I got the comb with the Remoist and I'm really nervous about that comb because it definitely feels fragile. I'm not sold on that comb, yet. I like that it's seamless, but it seems very pricey for how fragile it feels.

I did notice a difference in the comb. I have one I got from Chaz directly a couple years ago and I ordered the 8 ounce remoist and comb combo.
When I compare my original comb with the wen remoist comb there is a distinct difference. My original comb is much thicker and heavier. It even has a slight difference in shape.

same here- newer combs are different- have a sheen finish, plastic? old ones thicker, woodsy feel to them and have a matte finish.

I recently broke my comb and in the same spot, but it wasn't a WEN comb. It was a cheapy Goodie comb I got in Target for less than $5. I was mad about that, so I can imagine how upset you must be about your comb. I'm sorry it happened to you.
