Just wanted to mention that there have been studies as to which plant oils have deeper penetration (also occlusiveness) into the skin.
I know olive was one of the highest that has the ability to penetrate the top layer. They also tested argan, and right now I forget the others.... sunflower?
I found this: Previous research on plant oils have demonstrated that almond, jojoba, soybean, and avocado oils, when applied topically, mostly remain at the surface of skin, without deep penetration into the first upper layers of the SC.
So, again, it's what type skin you have and what is best to treat what you're treating....to prevent water loss, you want a high occlusiveness.
Not just what you are treating, but how you are treating it.
Don't know where marula falls into all of this.

@monicakm I ended up ordering two 1-ounce spray bottles of this (so that I could bring one on the plane) because it's fragrance free.
