@Jordan2  - The You Tuber I follow, Risa Does Makeup, is over 50 and has extremely oily skin.  She recently reviewed and highly recommended this primer to help control oil:

@San Antonio Gal funny you should mention this because I just ordered it! Back in the day I tried Proactive for acne skin (I didn't have acne) thinking it would control my oil. It actually controlled the oil too much, it made my skin too dry, I stopped using it.

I think I have purchased foundations in shades that are too light for me ( I don't know if I'm fair or light, cool toned or neutral). I don't want to throw the foundations out and was wondering if there is a product you can mix into your foundation ( other than a darker shade of foundation) to get a shade more appropriate for my skin tone or should I add a drop or two of bronzing drops?

common

@Jordan2  LA Colors has a line of Foundation Mixing Pigments that you can add to your foundation before you apply it to your face.  Each color has a different property: White lightens the foundation. Yellow gives foundation a more yellow/golden undertone. Orange shifts foundation to a warmer darker undertone. Blue neutralizes foundation- if foundation is too warm or orangle looking, blue neutralizes it. These are available at Ulta for $9 for each color. Smiley Happy  A tiny little drop or even a little dot of these is all that's needed to mix with the foundation for each makeup application.
