Hyperplaning Sales

Tonight my normally quiet husband made a comment about the sales people on QVC. He said that they talk like they are hydroplaning. He said how long do they have to talk like that? You know I have to agree with him, it seems that the hosts are now almost hyper in how they act and talk, like the old fast talking salesman that you slammed the door in their faces, or hung up on.

What is with QVC and making their host talk and act this way? I liked to watch when it is more laid back and professional not this fast talk, quick sale routine.
