These hurricanes and floods are so scary to see on TV- I can't even imagine how terrifying they are in person. I hope and pray for those effected by these storms and floods. Please stay safe everyone! 🙏💓

Watching the weather news and praying all people in its path are safe. Please follow the safety warnings of those who know best.

The last storm we had, we filled bathtubs and sinks with water...toilet flushing...and every container we had with water to drink. I had a very small cosmetic bag w/ meds, a credit card and cash just in case we needed those.

I'll be thinking about all those affected by this second hurricaine.

My sister, BIL, niece & husband and their dog, his mom & grandmother all left Tampa early this AM. My sister had made reservations in a hotel in Plant City, FL for all of them (three rooms together) for the duration and perhaps afterwards if Tampa has a lot of damage.
They stayed in their own homes during the hurricane last month without any problems, but this is predicted to be the worst in history. My BIL was raised near Tampa and has seen it all; my sister moved to Tampa in 1972 and has seen enough hurricanes to know this is BIG.

My family and I are so worried.

Hey @weez1987 (and everyone else) Well, Milton is gone. That s*cked! We checked our houses today, and other than the outside “shrubbery mess”, all good!! We don’t have power at home yet, so we’re still in the hotel, nearby. Ironically, our hotel is in Estero, Fl!! Small world, right?!! ❤️ I hope everyone here fared well. 🙏
