@JudyL I always wore powder blush until recently when I learned how to apply creams and liquids and got really nice brushes. Prior to that, whenever I tried, my cheeks would look splotchy. You can go onto YouTube and watch some videos of how to do it. Watch several as they all have slightly different techniques.
Moisturize well first and allow it to drink into your skin. I don't wear any foundation nor do I use a setting spray. I use a few dots of concealer on my face in the spots that bother me. I do my eye make up first (minus the mascara) , then concealer, then mascara, then blush. Lipstick last.
I dot the 3 dots of liquid on the upper cheek and use mostly BK beauty brushes or a stippling brush to apply. With cream I use my BK Beauty 107 brush to apply and then may use a larger fluffier brush to soften the final look.
Some people apply on the tops of their hands first and then pick up product from there.
I always go in lightly and will build if nec. Sometimes I'll use 2 different blush colors on each cheek, applying one at a time. I find that brushes make a HUGE difference in application.
I learned how to stipple the liquid onto my cheeks and sometimes the creams as well.
HOW DO YOU DO IT?
