How to Measure Hair Color in a Bowl......

I bought some demi-permanent hair color, developer and bowl at Sally Beauty. 

 

How do I mix color in a tube which squeezes out in a "ribbon" and liquid developer in the bowl with lines on the bottom? 

 

Makes no sense to me.

I think it's next to impossible to measure from a tube.     I buy Natural Instincts.....it's liquid......and I use a medicine measuring cup to divide the product.    I only need half a package.

I mix mine in a glass pyrex measuring cup that I only use for this purpose.
