How often can one use a clay mask?

I just found my tube of a Clinique white clay mask and used it. I did it 2 days ago and my face looked really clean and fresh. The info on the tube does not say how often one can use it. Is 3 times a week too much for the skin of a 66 yrs. old lady with break outs?
