I only buy organizer bags (getting hard to find) and one compartment is for mu. I carry a powder compact, lipstick or gloss, a powder shadow stick I use for eye liner, concealer (tiny BE container) and an old tube of EL pore cover. I carry a small tube of hand cream (eucerin) that I can dab on my face if need be and a mini tube of sunscreen in another compartment with my comb and roller ball cologne (Princess/Vera Wang).

I usually carry a small MU bag in my tote. That has a few different lipsticks and glosses, a neutral eyeshadow palette, concealer and sometimes a small blush plus face powder/foundation.

To answer the question, I carry my current lipstick, a lip balm, a compact with a magnifying mirror, a nail file, a bandaid (for a broken nail emergency) and a comb. I rarely use the comb. It all fits in the inside zipper pocket of my purse.

lol, one of my friend's has this huge purse in order to carry her huge makeup bag. A bag inside a bag. lol. Anyway, she pulls that makeup bag out and I swear it is like a mini Sephora in there! So crazy.

I used to have a nice sized mu bag in my desk but decided to try the minimalist strategy. Only 2 lipsticks, emery board, comb and highlighter in my bag. I tell myself......meh.....what's to do after work?

Then someone will come up with a spur of the moment out for a quick drink or dinner after work and I feel nekkid without a few more nice to haves like a shadow/mascara/blush.

Something to make me feel refreshed, like I can go another hour or two after a long day.

Only one lipstick.....unless I travel, then it is lipstick, one eye-pencil in navy, one powder foundation....done....in a small leopard print cosmetic bag I have had for many years.......simple, love it simple....

Just a lipstick or lip balm and a comb. My makeup stays all day w/o touchups.

I stopped carrying a purse, so I'll sometimes stick a lip balm or gloss in a pocket. That's it.
