How long do you leave WEN in?

I take quick showers and leaving WEN in for a good amount of time is a waste of water. I was thinking of starting my hair in the sink when I first get up and then leaving it in as I get ready ( feed cats, make tea, etc) and rinse in shower. But then I'm leaving in for quite a while. It's also a leave in, so this can't be bad, right? Also I can then rinse off first thing instead of last which I really don't like.
