How long do you keep eyeliner?

How long is too long to keep and use an eyeliner?

I have lots of BE B&B liners and use different ones everyday. They expiration date says to pitch after 6months, but mine are hardley used up and I just couldn't bare tossing my favorite OZ when I know there is plenty left.

How long do you ladies keep yours?
