Re: How long did your Clarisonic last?

I have a PLUS, but I have not idea how old it is - definitely more than 6 years though.

I won't replace the PLUS when it dies - I don't use the body brish enough to want to bother with it again. I'll just get the face machine.

7 or 8 years. Remarkably durable!

I had my Clarisonic Plus for 2 year before replacement. My original Mia which I passed along to my husband is still going strong - 4 years.

On 12/21/2014 LisaB said: I have to think mine is at least 10 years old and going strong. Got it when it was oprahs fav. One of the first models when they only had white. I don't recharge til it's needed. You ruin battery's leaving it on a live charger all the time.
You sure do. The cabin store Batteries Plus has really knowledgeable staff - they can explain battery memory to anyone. I talked to someone when my laptop battery stopped charging and I could only use my laptop when it was plugged in. The man I spoke with at Batteries Plus explained how important it is not to leave rechargeable batteries plugged in all the time. If anyone wanted to see if the battery is the reason their a clarisonic stopped working, Id recommend turning the Clarisonic on WHILE it is still in the plugged in charger. See whether it turns on while connected to a power source. If it does, then you will know the rechargable battery is dead. If it doesn't turn on, it is just a dead unit. I don't know if you can replace the battery in a Clarisonic.
