Re: How do you like the new Forums?

Okay so far, a little tough to navigate. But, as they say, "The only constant is change!"

I'm kinda p**sed they didn't fix the iPad issue like they said they were going to unless I'm doing something wrong. Other than that I think I'm going to Ike it once I get familiar with it.

On the plus side, everybody is so confused that they're either actually helping each other, or mad at the Q, so nobody is fighting with each other for a change!

Re: How do you like the new Forums?

Thank you to all who advised me about editing. I had actually found it, though, and had edited the post in which I was asking for help. Yay for me! Smiley Very Happy

You know, I'm starting to get the feel of all this. I think I like it.

Re: How do you like the new Forums?

Just checking things out and I have to say I don't like this new format at all!  It was much better with the sub-categories to the side, that way you could easily find the topics you were interested in.  Why change something that was not broken??

I like the QVC forums. I already added a picture of Nick Chavez as my avatar. It looks pretty fun now. It may take a little time for many to get used to, but I think it can work.

Re: How do you like the new Forums?

This is as bad, if not worse, as all the previous forum "improvements" that I have seen since 2007. Nope, this is the worst one yet. Nothing has ever improved, and we've lost functionality each time they've "tried" to upgrade. It's really sad, and I feel badly for those for whom this is their main social outlet online.

Re: How do you like the new Forums?

I'm prepared to give it a try, but there are just so many things that just don't make sense. In the old version my original posts was sticky and stayed at the top with responses below. Now, my original post is at the bottom of the entire thread. There's probably a way to fix this (I will say I did go into setting and try to figure this out but obviously failed). I also don't get why I see 4 posts made today, one made in March and nothing else for 2015.

And, maybe it's just me but there aren't enough topics on the landing page (like 10 or something-I tried to change this too, and obviously failed) and I'm just not interested in seeing books, pets, and especially games and viewpoints/community chat in the main feed.

I just don't think the QVC tech team took the time to really think through how we use these forums and they certainly don't appear to have let their "super users (which most of us seem to be!)" give it test run before going live. Feedback is good thing.

All these tags are a precursor to the dream QVC has of a "social shopping" experience; sorry, but this place is my guilty pleasure which I don't expect to share on my FB page, twitter feed or anywhere else.

I don't see myself spending the hours per week that I used to.
