Re: How do you apply foundation??

I think brushes and blenders start to matter more and more when you're using a product with more coverage. Texture changes start to be much more obvious.

Re: How do you apply foundation??

With LG baked I always use the brush, but with CC, which I sometimes use as foundation, I use my fingertips.

I did try the Tarte large brush that came with one of their foundations. I kind of liked it, but stopped using the foundation due to not liking the shade.

Do you use fingers, sponge, brush or ????

Hyacinth

I use the Beauty Blender sponge. Amazing what a difference! youtube has some videos and Amazon sells the white sponge. I wouldn't suggest buying the pink or black one as the dye may cause a problem with breakouts but never with the white one.

I use a skunk brush (MAC's and Sonia K's) or a Beauty Blender. I agree -- the BEST sponge!

When I was wearing BE, it seemed to MAGNIFY the pores on my face, I'd go over it with the Beauty Blender and got just the nicest finish!

Apparently I felt my response was vitally important and interesting since I posted it twice. Sorry for the dupe!

Re: How do you apply foundation??

I use either Rae Morris Radiance Brush, Wayne Goss foundation brush, or Tom Ford foundation brush. It really depends on my mood and the type of foundation I use.

Re: How do you apply foundation??

A brush with my compact foundation - I have 2 fave brushes: e.l.f. stippling brush or IT Cosmetics double-ended brush. After years of experimenting, I feel a brush gives me smoother, more even coverage.

But we're all different, thank goodness.
