It's all relative to ones means. Some drive a Ford and some drive a Porsche and they both do the same thing! There is a price range on just about every product including homes and I purchase within that range according to my means and don't give a thought to what anyone else spends. And yes I would spend that on perfume if I loved the scent and could afford it. For the record I wear Channel #5 and drive a Ford.

@Katcat1 No way! I used to purchase (or be gifted by DH) the larger bottles of Jo Malone about $140 (?). I realized if I didn't use up the several bottles I had, they "turned" and didn't smell great anymore. Now I purchase all my perfume in smaller sizes or travel size spray bottles.

I still love that drugstore cologne...think Jovan Musk. Then they did a Vanilla Musk. Yum. DH said it made his nose itch, so haven't worn it in decades.
With these darn masks, no one enjoys the scent but ourselves. That's still OK with me.

I agree, we each make our own decisions how to budget our finances.
I will pay more for a perfume that is high quality and uses natural ingredients.
Some of the cheap "artifically-flavored" perfumes make me sneeze!
I love the wonderful scents of flowers and spice.
Two of my favorite costly brands are Bond No. 9 and Maison Francis Kurkdjian.
I use them sparingly and make them last, but they are so delicious!!

When I was a sophmore in HS, I went into the ladie's room because my chest was itching horribly! Turned out, I had used SO much Ambush, I had gotten it in my blood!!!!!
I was broken out similar to poison ivy!!! Ekkkkk!......
SO much for youth!

I lost my mind once and paid something like $200 for a teeny tiny bottle of perfume. Never again.

I would pay $100, but it would have to be something really great. Don't see much on the horizon right now.

Many years ago, a friend wore the most incredible musk oil. I loved that stuff. She bought it from a vendor on the street in NYC. She used to keep me supplied. It smelled a little different on both of us, but incredibly delicious. I'd pay a small fortune to get my hands on that heaveny stuff again.

$350 is just too much to pay for perfume. I have spent as much as $100, but I honestly think that is too much, too. Right now, I have the 4oz size of one of the newer Philosophy fragrances in my wish list and I can't bring myself to pay $66 plus tax and shipping to buy it.....Maybe I will go wild and buy it some day.
