How Do You Keep Eye Makeup On In This Awful Allergy Season?

Oh ladies, I commend those of you who can go outdoors in this terrible allergy season and keep your eye makeup looking good! I'm staying indoors a lot waiting for surgery, but had to go out yesterday to see an allergist. Just riding in the car and being in the midst of all the pollen and mold did me in. By the time I got home, my eyes were red and watery, liner and mascara were smudged and running down face, and nose wouldn't stop running. i looked like I had been crying for days and maybe in a fight, lol!

What do you do to stay looking good? I wasn't wearing a lot of makeup, just my usual, but would have been better off without any!!! Btw, I can't take antihistamines because of starting testing.
