How Do You Choice A Concealer?

Do You go with the same coloring of your skin or do you go one shade lighter ? Of all of the MUA that go on I have never heard them say if you choice you natural coloring? This would be a product that would be very hard to buy on T.V. I have medium olive skin with yellow undertones and wouldn't know to go with the light/med or just med?
