@Squirrel Lover   Don't know if the Hourglass product is baked. Laura Gellar's compact with the 2 highlighters are baked, if that's what you're looking for, and more subtle.

It might just be me, but I think Hourglass powders are scratchy. Not with It, since they use silk in their formulations.

(Love the shades, though, from Hourglass.)

...Or, do you hide your purchases from him?

I'm wondering how long it took you to decide that was an appropriate question to ask.  I'm guessing you didn't  put much thought into it Smiley Sad

Re: Hourglass Holiday Collection

Hiding purchases from your husband or significant other? Not here; my husband doesn't care what I buy for myself. The same if he buys something for himself.

It I spent so much money that we couldn't pay our bills, then it would be a problem. Otherwise, it doesn't matter. We always discuss fiances, though, if it's a large expense like an appliance or home maintenance or something similar.

@monicakm    I was joking with you.  I did not mean to offend you. I buy a lot of things and I don't care what anyone thinks -- it's my money.   As far as me keeping my purchases from husband, I got rid of him long time ago and I am happily divorced.

@monicakm - I was not surprised to see who posted that inappropriate comment, so typical 👎 that's why I ignore her...

While I don't purchase much new makeup, I enjoy your threads - you find some interesting products/brands!

I enjoy your contributions here. You have no hidden agendas, nor phony persona and you don't try to pass yourself off as superior/condescending. Just ignore them! Keep having fun and sharing 😊

I do care what people think.  I think we all should to an extent.  I might care too much.  Public decorum is a thing and I'll admit to being stuck in a era of a more polite society.  I'm glad you were joking.  My husband is used to and humors my hobbies.  Be it cookbooks (that I didn't cook out of), smart home devices or makeup.

Re: Hourglass Holiday Collection

Thank you @Chi-town girl !  How sweet of you to tell me you enjoy my makeup "hauls" and contributions Smiley Happy  I think I handle myself here pretty good (mods don't think so tho.  I've been put in time out 3 times) but thanks for the advice.  I'm here to enjoy talking about makeup and skincare and to learning from others/share my knowledge and don't want to get sideways with anyone.  My makeup buying has slowed way down as I've run out of things to buy (and drawers to put it in).  I did buy some Dior Face and Body Powder No Powder last night tho.  I have the CT powder.  I love it but this one is supposed to have a little bit of a glow and a little glow is all I want so I'm anxious to try it.

Re: Hourglass Holiday Collection

@monicakm    Maybe when I was younger I did care but at this point in life (71 years old) I simply don't.   I sincerely did not mean to upset you or offend you.  You have to lighten up a little.  Everyone does what they want with their money and that is the way it should be.  People do not mean to be concerned about what others do.  I know I will have a nice weekend and wish you the same.  I just bought two pairs of shoes!  Talk about being happy.  I just hope they work out.  Sometimes you have to purchase when they are available.  I did shop around and one shoe was sold out everywhere except the Q.  The other I did not compare because the price was more reasonable & had free shpg.  I hope you are feeling better too.
