I have a medium skintone and have the Radiant and Dim. I really like them both. I use the Dim as more of an all over setting powder and use it almost every day. I prefer the Radiant more as a light bronzer or highlight. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what is different when you use these powders, but your skin just looks a little better without looking over the top glittery/shimmery. It just looks nice.
I wish the palette didn't have two of the shades that I've already purchased. The smaller sizes would have been perfect, since you use so very little. I don't think I can justify purchasing it just for the incandescent shade. If anybody is on the fence about purchasing these, I would consider the palette.

o/t but I just got the Hourglass blush from Sephora (sale) and I really like it. Works much better than IT cheek stain--that one went back to QVC today.
