@LTT1   Just back last night and catching up, but it seems they went (not just Q) from a natural/neutral makeup look to a bit FALL/HOLIDAY in my week away. Darker eyes, lips and more coverage on the skin. I personally prefer a less is more makeup look.

So, @Shanus  you noticed it too!

A few here have mentioned that perhaps that day was a day that a brand of makeup was being presented. That occurred to me too so thank you for validating!

On most of the hosts, I prefer a less makeup look usually. One wouldn't think that the camera and lights would accentuate makeup that much, but apparently they do.

Jayne Brown always looks great, never too much makeup, just right. She's funny and does her job beautifully.  Watching Jayne makes me realize just how bad some other hosts are.

I agree Jayne Brown looks gorgeous! Her manner is so pleasant and easy going.

I generally tend to think most of the hosts wear too much make up. I think it's very aging.  A bright colored lip or a smokey eye is one thing but all the features made up to the hilt is not good looking.  And the nude lip.  Double OY!

Let me tell you how I really feel.  LOL

Great point @justashopper

I didn't see that presentation, but I would think if it was an evening show, you're probably right about the "holiday" look.

I have noticed that Jayne Brown's makeup during the D & Co. shows is very nice.  Noticable, but not overdone.  It's still dark colors but looks appropriate.

Speaking of makeup, have you noticed the trend toward picture showing models with overly large lips?  Like they have been injected with something.  Ridiculous.

@timeless

I agree and yes having each feature dramatized to the top seems too much to me.

Re: Hosts/presenters and their makeup

@monicakm  The big lip emoji you chose made me laugh Smiley LOL! I blame Kylie Jenner for starting the trend of getting huge lip injections.  If a woman wants to get tastefully done injections, have at it- but some celebrities and even women I see walking around town in everyday life are taking it too far.  Have you ever seen 90 Day Fiance? The Silva twins Darcey and Stacey come to mind as ladies who've taken lip filler way too far.  I'm scared of trying lip filler, and I have a naturally full mouth, so if I want it to look a little poutier, I just use my lip plumping gloss Smiley Happy.
