Hosts/presenters and their makeup

Yesterday Amy and the rep for Clark's were both made up and looked nice...but VERY made up! Way more eye shadow and lipstick...does anyone know why?

I just figured that it was more of a "holiday look?"

And then to note: switched over to ShopHQ... the models were wearing sequined items (ahem... MY AGE) and no makeup!

We cannot be seen under bright stage lighting without makeup IMO.

This is a compliment to QVC...the hosts and people on air always look so nice!

Re: Hosts/presenters and their makeup

I didn't see that presentation, but I would think if it was an evening show, you're probably right about the "holiday" look.

I have noticed that Jayne Brown's makeup during the D & Co. shows is very nice.  Noticable, but not overdone.  It's still dark colors but looks appropriate.

Speaking of makeup, have you noticed the trend toward picture showing models with overly large lips?  Like they have been injected with something.  Ridiculous.

LOL!!!

I was shopping on Amazon for some new lipstick and some of the pictures were so over the top.  I was thinking these girls are spending too much time watching anime cartoons.

Just way too much Kardashian nonsense -

Watching them and their 'privileged' lifestyles and injecting silicone everywhere imagineable, what a mess!

I noticed Jayne Brown yesterday, or in the last few days as I can't remember what show it was, and she looked lovely. I did a second take as it was a close-up and I couldn't help but notice how pretty she looked. Wait, I do recall it was a show she did with Laura Geller. I love both of them!

Re: Hosts/presenters and their makeup

I generally tend to think most of the hosts wear too much make up. I think it's very aging.  A bright colored lip or a smokey eye is one thing but all the features made up to the hilt is not good looking.  And the nude lip.  Double OY!

Let me tell you how I really feel.  LOL

Jayne Brown always looks great, never too much makeup, just right. She's funny and does her job beautifully.  Watching Jayne makes me realize just how bad some other hosts are.

Re: Hosts/presenters and their makeup

@LTT1   Just back last night and catching up, but it seems they went (not just Q) from a natural/neutral makeup look to a bit FALL/HOLIDAY in my week away. Darker eyes, lips and more coverage on the skin. I personally prefer a less is more makeup look.
