LOL. Seriously. No kidding. It is pronounced an entirely different way in India (isn;t even the same word!) and I doubt any of the US 'dialects' ( sorry, I meant "regional differences" - ha ha ) would pronounce it the same way. Let the host pronounce it like they want! No one died over a mispronounced word.

It doesn't bother me about the pronunciation, if it is close. No matter how they pronounce it, I do not like any ikat print. I don't like it on me, I don't like to see it. I have no idea why, but ikat prints really bother me. LOL! There I have said it. Maybe I was scared by an "ikat" who knows.

Here's the thing, feline groovy. If they are going to say the word, it should be pronounced correctly. Now, I made a general statement to NO ONE imparticular and you come on here and make it personal with me. You must be a very unhappy person. I have always thought it was pronounced EE-kaht.
However, I love the kitties on the computers. They are much more interesting "icats."
