Re: Horse Hooves to the Rescue 🐎

// If my nails were any harder, my fingers would detach before the nails did.  I don't know why or what I do.  I've

never put anything on them.  I'm not the picture of health,

I'm not disciplined enough to eat green, yellow and red things (that come out of the ground)...bleh! //

Sitting around one night with a few girlfriends we reflected on our nails and hair.  Those with really great hair did not have great nails.  And those with great nails did not have great hair.  I don't know if that pans out to everyone, but I thought that was interesting.

Me: Never met a vegetable I didn't like, except sweet potatoes.  And eggs - hate eggs - don't even like them touching my plate.

// It's the lanolin in it. Does wonders for nails and cuticles like nothing else. Softens hard skin. //

Incoming bubble-buster...I've had good hair AND nails.  When I hit menopause, my hair got dry.dry.dry and so did my complexion.  Of course, I use products to counter the dryness.

Sweet potatoes, love them!  I also like broccoli and yellow squash and avocados so I will eat some veggies but as a whole, not a fan.

It's just soybean oil w/preservatives added. Save money and just buy pure soybean oil in a bottle. Much cheaper.

Re: Horse Hooves to the Rescue 🐎

I'm pretty sure the one that started it was called Barielle.  It was launched in the 1970's as a product used by groomers on race horses.  My mom and my aunts had to try it.  The funny part was that it was like an underground secret.  They would get it from behind the counter in the ladies clothing department at Marshall Field.  😄
