Hope in a Bottle question

Hi, Ladies. I found in my stash a small (2 oz) bottle of Hope in a Bottle that I must have gotten in a kit or as a sample, so I don't know how old it is. Less than 2 years, probably less than 1, because I do clear the stash periodically. Anyway, it smells a bit stong and medicinal, and I wondered if that was normal. It's not terrible - just very prominent and noticeable. I started using it because I've been getting some pimples around my jaw where my hair brushes against my skin, which isn't unusual for me in the summer.

But, I wondered if the smell was normal, and knew that you ladies would know.
