The metals are beautiful!! The only one I've had any fallout from is the silvery colored one and even that's not bad.I've learned to do my eye makeup first so I can sweep away any fallout before putting on my foundation. I don't use metals all over my eye. Upper lid is too crepey. I use them from the inside corner to the middle of my lower lid. I use the matte shadows as liners too. I'll use a little of the metal over the matte from the outside corner to the midway point of my lower liner. There's not one color in this pallette that I don't like/use. I can't say that about my other pallettes.

The Doll 10 eyeshadow palette that was on TV today looks pretty. I've had bad luck with this brand in the past, but never tried her eye makeup before. Doris said it is new technology that the powder was poured into the pans. It looked light on the hand when demonstrated, but I use primer. I'm on the fence.

[ Edited ]

have you tried bite lipsticks before? If so, what do you like about them? TIA!

I have tried two Bite sets from Sephora during the past two holiday seasons. Two years ago I got a set of 4 small lip crayons that are creamy and stay on well. One of the shades, Rhubarb, is a deep rosy color that looks great with Buxom Dolly lip polish on top of it.- it's may favorite of the four. Last year they had a set with lip mask, lip wipes, invisible liner, lip stick, lip crayon and another thinner lipstick plus a mirror- most of the colors were a little more neutral so I didn't like it as much as the crayon set but I do like their lip products and never find them drying, even the matte ones. They have some new lip sets on sephora.com and I may get another one when they have their Insider discount later this year. I like the fact that Bite makes lip products only- it's kind of 'old school' and I'm kind of old, so I guess that's why.

I also want to say that I agree with Ccassaday about eye pallettes. Sometimes I see one that attracts me, but then I try to copy it with some of the shadows I already own- and usually, I can (I have a LOT of makeup!)

I have my eye on some of the lipstick sets. There are a couple sets from bite that look good. To me all the eye pallets are starting to look same. I haven't seen anything different. TARTE is coming out with one in a month that looks totally different then what they usually do. Won't buy but it does look unique and different.

@HappyDaze and @ccassaday - I've been using Bite for about 2 years. DD gave me the mini set of 3 for an early birthday present a few weeks ago, so of course I had to try it! And so I've been wearing them! My favorite Bite lipstick is Zin, which has been discontinued now. It was the perfect color for me. Smiley Sad I don't have much luck with the crayons though.

This past summer DD and one of her friends went to NYC and visited the Bite Lip Lab. They got to make their own lipsticks. It's really hard to get in - you have to make an appointment. And it's not inexpensive either. They work with you and help you pick a shade, a finish, and a scent. She wanted to make one for me, but the artist told her it would be better for me to go myself (doubt I'll ever get a chance to do that!).

They look great, they are not drying, I like the way they taste, and they stay on! Smiley Happy

@MercysMom - Thank you for your review. It sounds like you wear the metals the way I wear shadows that have any sheen to them. I'll bet I will like the palette. Hearing that you like and use every color is huge. I don't usually like palettes because I end up using only one or two shades.

I'm going to make a point to check it out in person. Maybe it will be on sale closer to the holidays?
