What difference does it make to you ??? Did anyone ask YOU to pay for their "high end" cosmetics?

Actually, when people buy on credit then don't pay for it we all DO PAY - in higher costs to all of us for use of banking services and credit card costs. So your very rude post doesn't even hold water.

Who said anything about people not paying for it? "rude post"? What's rude about it? Maybe you should take a long look in the mirror about the many rude posts you make. SMH

Rinse, spit, repeat.

Raise your hand if you read the opening post and just knew we'd get a visit from little miss sunshine. After all, this topic is right up her alley. She can scold all of us for going into debt and them making her pick up the tab.

You just can't make this stuff up, folks.

Raising my hand! There was no doubt in my mind she'd swoop in on this one. Predictable.

I am continually amazed and shocked at adult women who use cheap skincare and color cosmetics and expect great results.

I was too, until one of the most beautiful, well dressed women I know confessed that she mostly used drug store products. She was a shopaholic and didn't work outside of the home. She always looked like a million bucks. One day we were talking and she shared some of her secrets. She bought many of her designer clothes from consignment shops and scavenged the clearance racks and outlets. She also wore drugs mostly store cosmetics along with her high end fragrance.

You could wear cheap clothes and carry a wmart bag, but you choose to spend money on "very good quality wardrobe essentials or a very good quality handbag."

Maybe I like some high-end cosmetics, because I have difficult coloring. Most of my cosmetics are high-end -- drug store stuff does not work for me. But guess what? My house is paid off, I have a retirement plan that lasts the rest of my life, and I have ZERO debt. So, if I want to buy Bobbi Brown or Estee Lauder, what business is it of yours?

ITA! Now, where is that deer eating popcorn?

As long as women can afford it and it makes them happy, I don't care what people spend their money on.

It's nobody's business...
