I guess only certain people were invited, because I didn't know anything about it.

Only consider if they might do some free make over demonstrations on those that attend   and that they let the Products Reps  do most of the talking and demonstrating .

 The Master class shows  they have shown previously, well be a disappointment because the Hosts interrupt or the camera is on their face the entire time while they are redoing their makeup. The Hosts are not the Master Class makeup experts, the product Reps or makeup artists are.
