I avoid putting links in posts because more often than not, that practically guarantees the thread to be poofed.
Oh no! I posted a video of Nick's Easy Styler. I'm so sorry! I can't believe they did that!
I posted a link, whatever I guess, they can't beat us LOL

No argument here. I, too, dislike when things get ugly with name calling. What I find interesting, though, is when the thread disappears for no discernable reason (no name-calling, ugliness, links, or other violations of community standards).
In some cases, it makes me think that the OP is embarrassed about posting in the first place and is regretting the fallout. I'm unsure if the OP can actually request to delete the thread, or not - maybe someone can shed some light here?

Yes and no. I guess posting the link was considered advertising to QVC, but I didn't think QVC would mind since Nick is associated with QVC.

Well, I got curious since your post Alexa is basically saying that tigriss is lying. You didn't go far enough in your amazon search. The bestek bths003 is what is in the picture and it IS 18.99.

There is an InStyler version and that was on Q for a short while. I guess as a test item. They now have an infomercial for it. Nick's is the same and so is the cheap one. It is probably around 1.25 to 1.5 inches in diameter versus Calistas/Prestige/Instyler Original Curling Brush that is out there. Because it is split, it adds width to the diameter, but if you have hard to straighten hair or short hair, this isn't for you. I have the Perfecter and the Prestige and both are fine on my short bob/long pixie but I also have a 3/4" curling brush iron that I use to give more curl at the crown and ends in the back. Anything larger and it wouldn't work. If your hair is easy to straighten, like mine, longer, and takes curl easy, then this tool would be great for your because it is a two in one. Nick's, and the others like it, generally have two heat setting like the original Perfecter/Prestige and most old school curling irons. The idea is great for travel and for quite a few different hair styles. I generally use my Perfecter/Prestige most mornings just because it does smooth out my crazy hair from air drying at night while I sleep (it goes in every direction) instead of my flat iron. I have a 1" and a 1/2" Conair one that is great for getting the shorter bits of hair. I used one of those mini ones and it just didn't cut it. The Conair 1/2" flat iron is GREAT and makes tighter curls than my 1". Now that my long pixie/short bob has grown out some, I'm all good with just the Perfecter, but I will be going shorter again when I get the urge. It also needs some serious thinning/heavy razoring to lighten it up and make it not so darned hot. I need to schedule a hair appointment. I haven't had one since March!

He had a sale of this and some products together as a set on his website this week end at 1/2 price.

The thread is still here. I guess QVC doesn't mind as long as the link isn't posted.

I noticed Carolyn says that they are presenting another brush roller type item this morning. I guess that's why they felt they had to remove the post about Nick Chavez's appliance.
I just saw it - it's by T3. QVC price is $79.00 with 2 Easy Payments. It's on right now.
I wonder how this will affect the Calista presentations.

Someone had posted the link on where to get Nick Chavez' Easy Styler kit. I think QVC sees that as advertising because it went to another site. But we're allowed to talk about the item.
