Help with Sensitive Skin & Epilator

I should have known better...when I tried that Bellame (something like that) coil thing that rips hair off your face and it caused me to have breakouts...but I went for the recent Emjoy Emagine epliator. I love it for my legs, but again, I'm left with breakouts when I use it on my face. Any tips for what to use on face before/after to prevent that?
