Isomers has 2 Vitamin C products; a C & E Serum and the C-Stem. They explain it like this:
The Vitamin C&E Serum combines oil loving and water loving antioxidants. You can use day and night.
The Vitmamin C-Stem combines 5 types of Vitamin C only to nurture every stage of collagen growth.
Think of it like this: Vitamin C-STEM is like food ( C stem). Vitamin C & E is like protection.
The best choice depends on what you want for your skin concerns. If you are out & about, then C&E is the choice. If you want to address pigmentation and wrinkles, then C-Stem is the choice.
Do I really need 2 different kinds of C?? Wouldnt one of the other serums work on the pigmentation and wrinkles??

The underlined part should answer your question MrsCat. I hope I am saying this correctly but the C-Stem address collegan and repair growth at 5 different stages. The other C addresses protection.

MrsCar21, You are very astute. It is so hard to figure out which of Isomers' products to start with. So many people seem entranced with them. We aren't the only ones confused by the different items with the same ingredients for the same purposes. the one for nutrition, one for protection shpeil is nonsensical. Yes, one C product should do both and more . There is yet another C serum reviewed by Beautypedia. It, like the other two I know of, contains vitamin C - And? I quote:
"The truth is that Isomers isn't really innovative in the least. In fact, the first words I'd use to describe their products are confusing, excessive, and redundant. Few lines I've ever reviewed sell this many moisturizers and serums claiming to do the exact same thing. Yes, companies like Estee Lauder have an abundance of moisturizers, but at least their formulas and packaging differ, making it relatively easy for consumers to understand which product to use and why. Not so with Isomers. If you're concerned about wrinkles or loss of firmness, you'll be greeted with more serums than even the savviest consumer would know what to do with. And according to the company, all of the products are remarkable, all of them work, and all of them are unique." Beautypedia Paula's Choice.com.
Paula's reviewers don't like my chosed vitamin c product any better LOL but I am going to steer clear of Isomers in general. And I'll need to duck to avoid the insults hurled at me for speaking out too.
Hope you have luck in your search for a vitamin C product. The great and powerful Dr Oz has spoken, vitamin C plus hyaluronic acit > = 20 years younger . oh yes he did ! check it out. have fun

Using the C Orange Peel and the C serum confused me, the serum says to use it on clean skin, the peel says to use it under serums, how would you use both??

Just let the peel dry and than apply the serum. I do Isomers C kits and peels about 3 times a year. It brightens and evens my skintone. I don't use sunscreen unless I am spending a full day outside or at the pool.

Thanks, hopi, I dont use sunscreen either, other than what is in my foundation. Eveine has a nice kit now at anniv. price with the orange peel, serum, new Illumi and the sunscreen.

While I haven't tried the Vitamin C & E, I did try the Vitamin C Stem Cell & I did not like it at all. It was grainy & gritty. I read on Isomers website to apply it to damp skin, rub it in and the granuals would disolve & I tried that but this line was a total fail for me. Does anyone else have an opinion on these two items? I'm currently using Timeless Vitamin C which runs around $25 and was highly recommended by Angie of Hot N Flashy Youtube & web sites.

The C and E serum is a totally different consistency that the C Stem serum. Many here are big fans of Mad Hippie C and NCN C serums just to name a few. .
