I don't understand why anyone would spend hundreds of dollars on something that isn't helping their hair? Everyone's hair is different. I don't think it is possible for one product to work on every single person's hair. Remember Chaz is a salesman first and foremost. Don't feel compelled to buy into the hype! WEN does nothing special for my hair other than leaving it limp and flat...but I have found plenty of great shampoos that are great...find the one that works for you and leave the rest to your mom.

There's also Cetyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate (so much for no sulfates) and a few other things I can't pronounce or spell. You have about half the people here advising to give it up. You can't "make" something work if it's not meant to be. Sometimes things just don't and it's time to move on. Just because it works for your Mom, doesn't mean it's going to be the same for you - hard truth, sorry. On 6/9/2014 hayley76 said:On 6/9/2014 ennui1 said:On 6/9/2014 Alexa6352 said:Jessica...WEN is not for EVERYONE. Even though Chaz wants us to believe that.My hair does not respond to Wen... My Husband LOVES IT.So maybe you are one of US...and go back to using good old regular shampoo!
Seems obvious. hayley, if a product doesn't work for you, stop using it. Why fight so hard to make something work? You don't get extra credit.
Thanks for your replies. I'm not looking for "extra credit" I'm looking for help and suggestions (which I've gotten) for other things to try to get better results. Given my mom has gotten such wonderful and dramatic results on her hair, it seems kind of ridiculous not to reach out to thousands of users and to the creator himself for help if I could be getting those results too.
I believe in the all-natural products. I have serious health issues which mean I need to keep as many chemicals out of my body and environment as possible. I'd rather not go back to "regular shampoo/conditioner" if I can help help it. If I can get Wen to work for me like it does for my mom, I want to do that and I don't mind seeming "silly" or like I'm trying for "extra credit" by utilizing a forum intended for questions to do seek out answers.
"There are no stupid questions..." -- But, again, thank you so much for taking the time to respond and try to remind me that not everyone has all of the answers.Hayley, welcome to the forum!
Having read the posts above, I honestly don't think anyone was making fun of you or giving you sarcastic replies.
There are many posters who come here asking what to do differently because WEN isn't giving them the same hair as the online models.
What many people here have learned is that there is an easy answer to what do I do differently: Use a non-Wen product. WEN doesn't work for everyone.
And considering your health issues, you could start a thread asking for ideas for natural or organic or chemical-free hair products. You'd get a bundle of responses.
At some point, if you keep using WEN and your hair remains dry and brittle, you may be ready to move on.
Try the CS numbers & FB cited at the beginning of your thread. Neither Chaz nor his associates read this forum.
Good luck!
