Hi ladies. I'm a long time WEN user (tea tree is my fav) but want to start using something for styling. My hair gets frizzy easily & I would like something for hold (instead of drugstore hairspray). Should I use mousse or styling creme?? Thanks in advance!

The Mousse has more hold but the styling cream is better for frizz. I use both.

Yes definitely the styling creme. Although I will say if you combine the Volumizing and the mousse you do get a lot of spring and separate curls. You also need SC regardless if you do any heat styling at all.

This frizzy curly girl uses both the SC and mousse too!

Although I will say I think the biggest help for controlling my frizz is adding a few drops of the oil to my leave-in CC. That makes all the difference for me. Not to confuse even more but I live in humid Florida and I find that if I don't use the Volumizing Treatment Spray as my final step on wet hair, then my hair gets "poofy" in the afternoon... not frizzy but poofy.

There is a good combo coming up with the VTS and Mousse any day now, we just aren't sure exactly when. And also the new summer formula Summer Honey Peach will have a styling cream and mousse. Should give you a couple opportunities to try some of the styling products.

They are all right. I use both too but I don't use 13 pumps. I use two pumps of gloss mixed with leave in then one pump of styling creme with a few spritzes of volumizer then five pumps of mousse and what bounce and frizz was cut WAY down and the bounce lasted all day and even the next day which is what I strive for. I'm not into curls but I love bounce. The mousse imparts shine like I never had since I was a youngster.

Sorry to post twice but I agree the mousse has more hold than the styling creme, but I use both too. The styling creme protects from the heat of the blow dryer if you blow out your hair or (unpardonable sin) flat iron.

I haven't bought the mousse but I really like the styling crème.
