Help!! Need a good moisturizer and cleanser

Does anyone have any suggestions on face moisturizer and cleanser. I tried Hope in a Jar and the Purity made simple but it just didnt work for me. I am 44 my concerns are aging and occasional breakouts (does that ever stop?) Im looking for something mid priced. I don't even want to try the Perricone because I know I wouldn't be able to afford it. Thanks for your help
