I've been using Josie Marans Hand Cream. It doesn't leave any greasy residue on me + it works well for me.

Ditto!

I found a tube of this that I never used/tried a week ago. This does sink right in for me. I went on ebay today and found a large tube for under $30 and no shipping. I think it came to 5.86 an ounce.

I like a Gold Bond in the pump--not an official "hand cream", but a body lotion. I also use Kiehls Creme de Coros. And just bought Deborah Lippman's Rich Girl. Jury's still out on this one for me. Still testing.

I just bought Curel Daily Moisture lotion and I really like it. Not sticky or tacky and no lingering scent.

I love the hand cream from Dr. Jonathan's Lotion Co. I get it at berryworks.com. It is currently sold in an 8 oz jar but just got an e-mail from Michelle saying they are in the process of also offering a 5 oz tube.

Great stuff as are all Dr. Jonathan's products.

My fave is Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream - a tried and true hand cream that works and doesn't have a strong smell. My husband and dad even like it.

When I was doing a lot of quilting, the fabric was drying my skin, but you don't want to leave grease on the fabric. Enter Udder Balm! Originally used by dairy farmers to soften chapped udders, it's been used by us humans for years and years. It's available at big box stores in the lotion aisle. Very inexpensive, yet surprisingly effective.

Hemp Hand Protector by The Body Shop. ULTA has testers of this and other hand creams and lotions you can test before you buy.

I second this!! I'm a dental hygienist and hand wash multiple times per hour. Plus, latex gloves can not only cause allergic potential, but dry out your skin. I love that this makes my hands stay normal.

I also love a hand cream called Glove 'n' Care made by Essential Dental Solutions. It is made to stay on your hands through several hand washes, but without a lingering film. You can find it on Amazon.

Re: Help! Need a good hand lotion that goes in and doesn't leave a residue!

I have had really dry skin on my hands the last couple weeks, and have tried most of the suggestions already given. My hands were so bad that I had cracks on my knuckles and most of the lotions actually stung ( the eucerin hand cream was the worst). I stopped at Walgreens on Friday and picked up O'Keeffes Working Hands, I've used it four times, my hands are already about 90% better. It might be worth a try. Good luck!

Another rave for the Josie Maran Hand Cream (just posted a glowing review).

If my hands are really suffering, I will add in a dab of the Neutrogena Hand Cream (pictured above). But definitely get the fragrance-free Neutrogena. It can turn any hand cream into a holy grail product.
