I use Argon milk, followed by Josie's oil on my nose, chin and lips. Then after a few minutes, I seal it all in with a moisturizer - I am using Fresh Creme Ancienne now.
I think Josie said the milk is just step one - you need to seal it in.

A good serum may help. I use Perlier's night renewal serum. I also use BB crème for foundation in the Winter, less drying then regular foundations, and I will use a night crème for daytime if my skin is really dry.

thank you terrier3..I received mine in a kit and have used it..trying to see what is so loved..and basically have been using it like that. I don't think I would repurchase it alone..maybe try it again if in a kit. too expensive for not feeling much...for me. thanks ![]()

I swear I look like my grandmother. I drink plenty of water but that doesn't seem to help either. Is there a product that will plump up my skin?
The same thing is happening to me! I've tried everything and even quit using any type of cleanser on my face except for Wen or a cleanser with oil. Nothing is helping. I look forward to hearing the replies you get.

In addition to the products may I ask do you use a humidifier in winter? I will be 61 next month I have normal skin in summer but will dry up like a prune if I don't have a humidifier going. I like you also drink a lot of water (3 liters a day here) , I use an oil (Josie Maran's). I have a forced hot air system which produces a drying heat and even though we have a whole house humidifier on our system , I find having a humidifier in our bedroom beneficial.

I consider what I cleanse with, especially in the morning, greatly effects my skin for the entire day. Lately I've just finished up a bottle of Cerave Hydrating Cleanser and have been very impressed with it. It leaves my skin very soft and hydrated and I think more receptive to the serums/creams I use. I've also added their AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion with #30 sunscreen and it too really softens my skin without being greasy. I use a variety of serums that treat my skin gently and when very dry add 100% argan oil before my sunscreen. At night I cleanse with a cleansing balm or cleansing oil to remove make up and hydrate my skin. I use Retin A at night which can be drying so I follow it with lately with the argan oil and SKINN's 24 Hour Wrinkle & Dryness Relief Balm (from shophq.com). This combination has been doing a wonderful job of hydrating and softening my skin especially in this weather.

You always have such pleasant things to say!!!
Dr Denese has wonderful products but, there are times, Winter for example, when most of us need a little extra help with moisture!!!!!!

Have you tried a humidifier? My skin does much better in the winter when I use a humidifier. You may also want to add an oil or a balm over your current moisturizer, as a moisture barrier.
