Help, I need suggestions for a good primer!

Hi Everyone, I have been using Laura Geller's Spackle for a long time, bought on a TSV and it lasted along time. I liked the results but can's help but wonder if I am allergic to something in it. She always describes it as being really cool and it stings when I put it on, even though I am putting it on over my moisturizer, sometimes actually burns. I would like to try somethig else, possibly a tinted one, but don't know where to start. I missed the CHOICE AWARDS because I also need a good make-up remover. Thanks for any advice you have.
