I second the vote for ASDM sunscreen from ASDM Beverly hills.com

Physical sunscreen, zinc and titanium dioxide with a slight pale blush color that blurs the skin. Non greasy, not shiney, not tacky and no white cast. Dries down to a soft feeling finish that feels nothing like the Seran wrap, suffocating feel that's some have. It not a real thick formula.

I have slightly fair to medium skin tone and freckle easily. It's provided me with good protection.

I even use it on my eyelids without any irritation.

Where can one purchase it? I, too, detest sunscreen and have extremely fair skin.

Not necessarily, my daughter's skin is just the opposite of mine. She has an oily complexion and I'm inherently dry.

We both use and love it.

Why don't you take a look at Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer oil-free with spf. It really is a great product (read the reviews). It comes it shades for women with fair skin and different undertones. If you need more coverage use her Secret Concealer. It's worth the money. I believe the tinted moisturizer is $43 but you only need a small amount. Check her website and Nordstrom if you are interested.

I really like Josie Maran's Argan infused sunscreen...she has a tinted (too dark for my porcelain-ish colored skin) and a non tinted version. They are both non chemical sunscreens (spf 47) with a pleasant and mild smell. I use the original version after moisturizing and have found that it works well with foundation. I love IT cosmetics CC cream as well. Smiley Happy

I would definitely look into the Paula's Choice line!

Re: Help.....I despise sunscreen!

I, too have oily skin and hate the heavy feel of most sunscreeens. I try to find a gel sunscreen--they are made with alcohol, so not greasy. Good luck.

Just an afterthought. ASDM has samples, not sure what the charge is, but you can call or email them, if interested. Their contact info is located under the contact tab on the top tab bar on each page.

Re: Help.....I despise sunscreen!

I have very oily skin and I would recommend Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Ultra Sheer SPF 30. Almost like water - definitely no ick factor for me. It did not do anything to balance my oily skin, but it is very lightweight which I like. She also has a Hydralight SPF but I didn't like the smell of it.

Oh, you can buy samples first to see if you like the products.

Re: Help.....I despise sunscreen!

These are the two I use: NIA 24 Sun Damage Prevention Broad Spectrum Broad Spectrum 100% Mineral Sunscreen. Expensive, but really worth it, you could try a 1 oz. size from eBay.

Andalou Naturals Oil Control Beauty Balm, Untinted with SPF 30, can be a little heavy, but loaded with good ingredients. I have seen this at TJMaxx lately.

Good luck with your search
