We still do not know the outcome yet.........it could get worse with my eye and hair and especially both...........so its not over I will be making many trips the eye specialist said and then it will be every 6 months but I may be going every three weeks which is what he has me scheduled for now.   So it is not over by any means.  My stylist does not live where I am so he keeps saying wait and so I am not going to set up an appointment until he will see me............right now he is not answering my questions........like can we redo my hair in September? Can I put coconut oil in my hair?  He is not answering anything and I called Davines products I use they have never had anyone call with gas on their hair and he wanted me to sleep in their hair mask and when I called the company that makes the product they said they do not advise me to sleep in that mask with gas being on my hair............to let it sit up to an hour and wash out.............so I am just WHAT DO I DO?

I called a lawyer that my stylist client knows and only her paralegal called me back they live two hours away from me so I read about her online and she does not have positive reviews and they kept saying how much medical cost? Well, I have no idea I have not got the bills yet..........so this could take forever I just want $497 plus pain and suffering..........and done with it ..............but IF IT HAPPENED who would make this up?  SMH

Ok right that makes sense I will call my dermatologist tomorrow and make an appointemtn he lives an hour away but comes to town every Monday. Maybe I can get in to see him a week from tomorrow. Thank you that is a good idea I will see my dermatologist and I have one that is fabulous that I have not seen in years that used to put shots in the top of my scalp becasue I was loosing some hair in 2001....he would probably be the best to see he is almost an hour and a half away but he is fabulous but I can also get two dermatologist opinions one is young the other that is amazing is older...........so again thank you and all that have be nice.

Sorry this happened. You absolutely need to seek legal advice. There are lots of personal injury lawyers.  See a lawyer today.  Do not pay any medical bills yourself. 

As for your hair,  it has been a few days it seems from your posts. If it just happened, use baking soda, make a paste and apply to your hair and scalp for 30 minutes. Rinse and use Dawn to wash your hair.  Do continue to condition with coconut oil or olive oil.

You need wait on the color for now. You could try Roux temporary color.  Good Luck!!

They do not want to take a case with low medical bills a few thousand in medical bills is not enough money for them to work on.  I have tried.  I have tried all I could think of I have been on the phone since April 13 daily.  So after just reading here for a year or so I thought I will come here and ask........some have been very helpful some have been unkind.

It happened April 12 and thank you but I am not using the harsh dawn liquid soap on my hair and I am not going to put a baking soda paste........no stylist has said that they said condition.......dawn would strip my hair more.........

@pinkacolorborn I'm so sorry this happened to you. What a freak, horrid accident! You asked if anyone has ever known anyone with your problem....i can say....kinda. when I was in high school band, we were playing at a basketball game and the clarinet player that I sat by came late, she told our band director that she had spilled gasoline all over her. The band teacher told her to go wash every place where the gas had touched and not to touch her clarinet. She did not get burned and if memory is correct she did see a dermatologist to make sure everything was ok. Please take care, I'm glad you have your sister on your side.

Yes thank you for that my sister lives a long way away but I send her pictures daily and I will for sure see a dermatologist I can't believe I did not think of that I have been trying to get my money from all I lost from the company...........arguing with them its on their report the hose busted on me.........what do they need to invesitage they closed the pump down and waited for a new hose and nozzle..........it should be for them cut and dry and send me my money for my hair repair for when ever that will be and for my clothes as if they keep waiting they are going to get more receipts and bills. Thank you.

This was an accident that could have been prevented!  Think positive. $497 is nothing. What will you do if you have recurring health issues because of gasoline. It has carcinogenic properties!! Who will pay for your related health care in the future?
