Sorry your second one is harder than the first.  I was hoping it would be easier.  My husband had his right one done in October 2021 and because of the pain and long recovery said he would not do left one.  The doctors are very stingy with pain medication. Now he can barely walk to the bathroom so he is scheduled for July.   He dreads it and so do I.  He is overweight and inactive and has bad arthritis in his back and feet so the PT is tough for him and does not want to do it.  He is not the easiest patient.  Going to be a rough summer.

Thank you. It never once dawned on me that the left leg was going to be issue because of the sciatica. And if I didn't have to do any Physical Therapy it wouldn't be a problem. That whole lower left quadrant of my body is just a hot mess😩

ps... I'm going to sneak this in here. My sweet husband is considering buying me a horse!!!  I can't ride it. He said my horse riding days are over.  And it would really be best if it was an older gelding.  Just to smell them again, to brush him, rub his velvet nose and braid his hair.  It will truly be a dream come true. But, I have agreed to table the discussion till I'm completely over my knee surgery and that could be up to a year.  Can't wait to tell my mom. She will be elated for me.

Stand by. I think I'm going to rank my blushes today. I've been looking at them. It's not going to be as easy as ranking Foundation.

@monicakm - Oh yea!  A blush ranking.  Looking forward to that.

As far as the horse, well, I'm happy for you - truly I am and hope you can get one soon.  But I am scared to death of them so I'll be happy for you and enjoy the pics you post.  Is that ok?  LOL

In the misery loves company department, I have only had one knee replaced (so far) but friends who have had both done, all say that one recovery was worse than the other, if that is any consolation.  My one was pretty miserable, so I'm hoping it's a single.

Hang in there, Sweetie, there is light at the end of your tunnel, I am sure of that. Sciatica is awful my DH gets bouts of it.  And your DH sounds like he is a real keeper.
