[San Antonio Gal]

Have you tried one of these lip stains that peels off to reveal the stain underneath?  I keep seeing ads by Wonderskin.  I'm curious about this brand or others.

@San Antonio Gal  - No I haven't but my DD wants to try one.  Don't think she has cuz I'm pretty sure she would have mentioned it.  Will ask next time I talk to her.

I have seen those ads also but I'm hesitant to try them. You really need to apply it correctly and I fear I'd screw it up and it would be way beyond my lip line and I'd look like a clown.

I bought a lip stain  oil type of lipstick made by Almay.

Love it !   Texas, even though it's snowing right now is usually dry as a bone.

That reminds me of those paint-on-peel-off brow gels that were suppose to leave a lasting tint/stain on your brows and were long-lasting, too.

I, too, have seen the ads for them.  @SilleeMee I haven't seen the brow gel you mention.  In general, long-lasting lipsticks/stains are drying.  If you add an emollient on top, it messes up the long-wear characteristic.  Not sure if it's the same for this, but I'm guessing it would be.  I've had decent luck with the layering method I use.  I do find it intriguing if it would actually work and not be drying, but am thinking it's just a fad.

Years ago Hsn sold a peel-off 'tattoo' brow gel. Came in three shades and I think it was sold by the vendor who does Beauty Spy products, Chelsea. It was suppose to last for days and days before fading. BATTI BROW was the name of it.

I was intrigued by the brow product, but feared when peeling it off my sparse brows would go with it.

@San Antonio Gal   I've seen the ads too, but I've settled on a gel lip liner (Merit just came out with them). I apply all over my lips and it fills in like a lipstick. Sometimes I add a gloss, but not needed.
