Re: Have you tried Lume deodorant? Those w hyperhydrosis...

I've read that about the scent also in some negative reviews.  I wrote the company to cancel my order but it was too late.  They offered to send me a post paid return label, so I will return it.

Thanks for your replies.

I use Lume exclusively now. It does not stop wetness. I still can become wet in the armpits, but there is no odor for nearly 72 hours. Husband and I went on a road trip and I can attest to being stink free for 48 hours.

love the stuff. The smell isn't strong when you apply and quickly dissipates. I use the Lavender.

There was an episode of Dr Pimple Popper that covered this problem. The Dr. drew a grid over the treatment area and zapped each square within it with a light/heat energy (laser?) source. On the check back the woman was very pleased with the results. It appears to be a permanent solution. The episode was recent and you may be able to find it On Demand on TLC.

Yes, Certain Dri is a good one!  Unfortunately it is for underarms only.

CaChicaa   I am on the other end of spectrum as I am allergic to deodorantt, antiperspirant  (I tried so many brands when I was younger).  I thought this new product was for people that could not use other products because of allergies.

Re: Have you tried Lume deodorant? Those w hyperhydrosis...

I kept getting Lume ads on my FB feed so I caved and ordered trial sized samples.  I think five of them.  They were little tubes of a cream, not a roll-on, which is a weird way to apply a deodorant.  I don't like to touch it so I put a small dab on a cotton round and apply it to my pits.  There is definitely horrific smell that lasts for a few seconds but dissipates.  I honestly can't bring myself to use it.  I've gone back to aluminum-free Secret.  If it works for you and you like it, that's great.  For me, it's a pass.
