I filled up my contact lens with a peroxide contact lens cleaner instead of saline solution and popped it into my eye.
I only ever ever did that once. It was horribly painful and burnt my eye.

Several years ago I gave my mom a bottle of Perlier body wash that I didn't want and she thought it was body cream and slathered it all over her body after showering. Later she wondered why she felt so sticky! Her eyes aren't the best anymore and was angry that the words on the Perlier bottle were in Italian. She was like "how am I supposed to know what this is?"

I once used an Estee Lauder cleanser to brush my teeth, yuck! I now keep my cleanser put away if it comes in a tube!

Seagal and ECBG, when hubs and I got married, we were on a tight budget. I used to hear many beauty experts say you should be able to use your shampoo as a facial cleanser-the grocery store and drug store brands are what I was using, and they worked!

One morning when I was in high school getting ready, I gave my hair and good spraying of Right Guard deodorant instead of my Aqua Net hair spray. I had to catch the school bus because we lived about 15 miles from town, so I had to smell Right Guard all day on my hair. Not to mention the odd feel to my hair.
My mother wasn't sympathetic to my request that she let me take another shower and for her to drive me to school.

I once took a quick shower and didn't take time to look in the mirror. I was making a hurried trip to the bank to straighten out a bounced check, back when they let you do this without charging you 35.00. Anyway, my teller never said a word, neither did a neighbor I passed on the way out. I checked my car mirror and my mascara had run so bad I looked like that guy from Kiss.

depglass, that happens to me because at my age, I am using rich eye creams under hydrating foundations. Normally I "bake" to prevent that ( for those who don't know what this is, it's a great technique: after applying foundation, concealer, liner etc, you brush a liberal amount of powder under your eyes and let it sit a little, then brush off the excess).....but yesterday it happened because I forgot to "bake". I was passing a mirror (at my nail salon-a place where I consider the staff my friends)- and I saw it and wanted to crawl under a rock!!!

Tried to brush my teeth with Preparation H. ( It made my teeth shrink though.)

Fluffysmom, I hope that was a fresh tube that had never been used for its intended purpose!!!
Good to know-should I ever develop unsightly bags under my teeth, I will know what to use!
...and for soft, luminous teeth that defy aging, I will take a page out of Bosmamaas' book-albeit, Ester Lauder is a bit pricey...![]()
