Has anyone else found that less is better?

I have been cutting way back on the number of products I use, and the products I do use I am making sure have really good ingredients and I check them with EWG's skin deep rating system to make sure they have a very low hazard rating. I have to say that my hair and skin have never looked better. I think that not using any moisturizer when my skin isn't feeling dry, not using any exfoliants, and not using any irritating ingredients is really helping my skin return to a normal and balanced state. No breakouts for the first time in what seems forever. Now for skin care I wash with a very simple and natural 100% olive oil castile bar and if I need to remove makeup or add extra moisture I use a few drops of avocado oil. For my hair I stopped using hair dye and switched to henna and have been using morrocco method to clean it. For makeup I have been using mineral makeup but I just ordered some rejuva minerals products and can't wait to try them.

I am really starting to think that all the years of bad skin and bad hair that I had were from using products with clogging or bad ingredients. Has anyone else had good results from simplifying their routines?
