I did right before my weding and I thought I wuould never get over selling things and giving things away but I tell you I had too many things.  I really don't miss all that I sold or gave away.  I like less and yet the only thing I really need is another bed and mattress set for company.  The great place I am living is that they will never go up on my rent and I have put in a security system and I love it...........I can't believe  I did without one for so long.  It makes me feel safe in the home and my home safe while I was gone.

Yes, I am doing my Spring "edit" cleaning. I always want to know where it all comes from.

Actually as it grieved me some to sell most of all my things I can say I have probably forotten all tha I had but  I really don't miss it and I practcally gave it all away.   I really did have too many things.  I got some lace mauve curtains for ny dinning room and kitchen and bedroom and they are lace and so pretty.  Really the only thing I need is a picture behind my bed and then a new Full size mattress and box springs and they are so expensive................Fo me it is a big house.  I love the central heat and air and washer and dryer and ice maker.  Iam gratful and blessed.

I started (spring) cleaning at the first of the year so I feel pretty settled, I have been  enjoying the outdoors lately.

I am in the process of de (c)rapping my entire house these last few weeks!! It is alot of work but wow, what a great feeling ! Does this stuff reproduce or what? Taking my 3rd load of stuff to the donation place and will start a new room. I brought most of it downstairs into my livingroom and sorted it there then out to the car. Hubby, daughter and cat are amazed-----the cat is confused-----as is normal. Then may start actual cleaning. Been in this house for 30 years and am amazed at how well I stored this stuff. Only have 2 floors and a 5 car garage--which  is hubbys problem

I've been spring cleaning the past few weeks. My 3 boys make it a lovely task!

To get myself in the mood, I watch an episode or two of Hoarders...works like a charm! 😂

Doesn't make me feel so bad about my linen closet or desk area where I keep my bills and mail.😉

We updated the kitchen last month so that was the start.  Does everyone have a junk drawer, or just me?  Anyway, I was able to eliminate some things (seldom used pieces of pottery) and reorganize the cabinets.  We're really happy with the results.  We were on a short trip from the 10th thru the 14th.  We've been home for a week and I just can get myself back in the groove.  It's time I snap out of it and get back on track....hoping to accomplish a lot this week.

I did my spring cleaning in April, when it was warm enough to open the doors and windows.  I also switched to summer bedding and window treatments.
