Re: Has Anyone Tried Angel Lift Strips?

@persiflage

They are called "lip masks" and are made by many different manufacturers. The one I stumbled on is by "Miss Spa" pictured here. I found this at my grocery store!

Re: Has Anyone Tried Angel Lift Strips?

@simplyfriends  I love powdered collagen! I've used Swanson brand Collagen Hydrolysate powder every day for about a year and it works wonders in providing nutrients and strength to my hair, skin, nails and aids in muscle repair after intense workouts.  I bought it last year after I really injured my knee doing bodybuilding and heavy sets on the leg press machine. I wanted to repair torn muscles in my knee from that injury by regularly taking collagen and now I have zero knee pain after that bad knee tear.  I'm a major collagen believer! Smiley Happy

Isn't it amazing how many "helpers" are out there?

My nails are long and strong and my hair is lots better too because of collagen!

When I look at pictures from "the olden days" of women my age I now understand why they look so OLD. They didn't have these supplements available back then!

@LTT1  So many great helpers on QVC! I learn new things everyday on these forums Smiley Very HappyHeart.  I don't even need a dermtologist because all of you QVC ladies lead me into the right direction! Smiley Happy

If something along the gumline softened lip line, I surely wouldn't have them having worn a retainer at night for several years now.

@Desertdi   Good morning Di. I think sometimes the filler can form little lumps in that area, too. I wouldn't do it either.

Re: Has Anyone Tried Angel Lift Strips?

@LTT1   I've always wondered- how do you use those lip masks? I bought one and didn't know if I should lie down really still on my back and put it on my mouth or purse my lips with it partially in my mouth- so I just pursed my lips for about 20 minutes with it in my mouth Smiley Very Happy.  I think that I wore it the wrong way!

When I have used it I have mostly been reclining!

However, it was "wet" enough that I could get up and walk around.

I would try not to "purse" my lips because that is what causes lip lines in the first place! [as in drinking from straws]

After I use the hydrocolloid mask, I place it on my chest where I'm have a "spot" because of my autoimmune rash ILichen planus". The hydrocolloid products that are available are very good for helping these areas to heal!

Re: Has Anyone Tried Angel Lift Strips?

@LTT1  Thank you for clarifying how to use those lip masks- I definitely defeated the purpose of it by pursing my lips the one time that I tried them!  Before I came up with the incorrectlip pursing technique, I kept laughing trying to wear it sitting up while watching TV because it would flop onto my jeans, onto the couch or onto the floor and I kept trying to put it back onto my mouth- the things I try for beauty Smiley LOL!  That is such an inventive way for you to use the hydrocolloid mask on a rash flare up- its a MacGyver style repurposing of a lip mask and very creative of you! Smiley HappyHeart
