I like the idea of a gentle tune mascara, but with my longer lashes and the fact that my lashes basically point DOWN, not holding curl is something I just won't (can't? Lol) compromise on. That being said, I've only found one brand that holds my curl, and only in a waterproof formula. And I've tried a million, it seems, including samples from both low and high end brands. So, the one thing I don't even mess with anymore is mascara. My search is over, which is good, because the search is always on for about every other beauty thing out there. Lol!! Glad you girls found something you like, that really works for you!
Which one do you use?

Ok, so, do tell Future, what brand is it you found that holds your curl?

That saying has become a joke with my husband and me.

The woman vendor/inventor was from Australia and her mascara was the tube kind. The line just sort of disappeared, and I never knew what happened, so tube mascara was out of my life. I did just order some blinc thanks to you posters here.
This thread ended up being kinda of a combo discussion, but I'm glad you read it and found Blinc. I used to buy Mirenesse from HSN too.

Blinc has been my favorite tube mascara thus far. I can add layers with the black primer so that is why I prefer that for my mascara-it gives me the most volume because of the layerability ( lol not sure that is a real word). I use an eyelash curler too but once my Blinc goes on my lashes start to flatten out again. You would not want to use a curler after you apply Blinc I wouldn't think or it night pull the tubes off. I usually get my Blinc through dermstore-free ship and 20% off.On 4/3/2015 HappyDaze said:On 4/3/2015 UMDTerpFan said:What is it about Blinc that you like? I look for a mascara that volumizes and lengthens. I've had issues with some mascaras that when I start using them, I loose eyelashes. I use Tarte Lights Camera Lashes and I think I don't loose eyelashes like I do with other mascaras because Tarte is natural. I once tried Jordana mascara based on all the rave recs I've read here on BB and it was a disaster for my lashes. Maybe they are more delicate and sensitive than the average person's I don't know. But I've also heard of Blinc so I'm curious as to what you like about it and what other mascaras you've used to compare it to. Prior to using Tarte LCL, I used L'Oreal and before that Lancome for many many years. I stopped using Lancome because it is so darned expensive and the tube always dries up on me so fast.
I have delicate lashes (well, use to) and most mascaras caused my lashes to be more brittle and break off (at the ends mainly, not whole chunks of lashes or anything). I did not like the Jordana mascara either. I used to use Lancome many moons ago as well. I am very picky with mascara as I still want to be careful that they don't make my lashes brittle again. So I like Blinc because it is a tube mascara so no smearing, smudging, flaking, eye irritation, and it is super easy to rinse off- splash splash splash of water, gentle motions on the lashes and done. No makeup remover needed. The one thing I don't like is that it does not give my wimpy lashes much volume (although the new black primer does so I've been using that as my mascara instead). It definitely gives length but volume, not so much. That is the biggest drawback for me oh and then lately now that my lashes are longer, it isn't holding my curl up as well, although, again, the black primer works better for that as well.
That is my take.
Thanks for the info. I've never used a mascara that makes tubes around lashes. I may have to try it. So it isn't sold in any stores? Wasn't Mirenesse a mascara sold on HSN 15 to 20 years ago that used a tubing format? I think it was from Australia if I recall correctly. I use an eyelash curler now as it is so that wouldn't bother me. I do use a lot of mascara to get the length and volume I want so can you brush multiple times with Blinc or is it a brush one time type of mascara?

Do you have to use eye make-up remover to take it off?
