Ok makeup. Out for delivery with UPS I have a Bobbi Brown Cream Eye Shadow in Galaxy from the F & F sale, by way of Nordies for free shipping.

It's my favorite and I am excited to get it. It looks nothing like Nordies swatch.

I think galaxy is super pretty and agree that it does not look the same IRL as it does on the Norstrom swatch. I wish I could buy her products as I do like some of them. I love her beach oil and lotion and like some of her cream shadows. So pretty. Smiley Happy

HappyDaze that Galaxy really sets off my blue eyes. I would highly recommend it to anyone with blue, or maybe also green eyes.

I am here. I got very emotional because my mom passed away a little over a year ago and holidays are tough. I was overcome by the complete insensitivity of that poster - and for what? Again, because she can and gets away with it. She responded in an equally callous way to another poster on that thread who spoke of her deceased relatives.

There is never any substance, simply attacking where it will hurts most. Young children do this when they are angry and frustrated. The difference is that, for the most part, children do not know a better way to communicate and are guileless.

Press the report inappropriate link? Ha! Last night her posts were left there no matter what, while those around hers that did not violate standards were deleted in a heartbeat. Then she came back to taunt people about their posts being gone. I have seen her do this time and time again.

In any event, this morning I shook my head and decided that it was silly to let a garden-variety troll get one ounce of bother from me.

I appreciate your concern and you have been very kind, but I am OK now, truly.

I'm sorry about your loss. I lost my mother 19 years ago today. She was only 64. So I feel your pain. I hope you have a nice weekend.

What is it about Blinc that you like? I look for a mascara that volumizes and lengthens. I've had issues with some mascaras that when I start using them, I loose eyelashes. I use Tarte Lights Camera Lashes and I think I don't loose eyelashes like I do with other mascaras because Tarte is natural. I once tried Jordana mascara based on all the rave recs I've read here on BB and it was a disaster for my lashes. Maybe they are more delicate and sensitive than the average person's I don't know. But I've also heard of Blinc so I'm curious as to what you like about it and what other mascaras you've used to compare it to. Prior to using Tarte LCL, I used L'Oreal and before that Lancome for many many years. I stopped using Lancome because it is so darned expensive and the tube always dries up on me so fast.

I wonder if I can find a dupe of that color somewhere? Does it read more gray or pinkish/taupe on you?

I have delicate lashes (well, use to) and most mascaras caused my lashes to be more brittle and break off (at the ends mainly, not whole chunks of lashes or anything). I did not like the Jordana mascara either. I used to use Lancome many moons ago as well. I am very picky with mascara as I still want to be careful that they don't make my lashes brittle again. So I like Blinc because it is a tube mascara so no smearing, smudging, flaking, eye irritation, and it is super easy to rinse off- splash splash splash of water, gentle motions on the lashes and done. No makeup remover needed. The one thing I don't like is that it does not give my wimpy lashes much volume (although the new black primer does so I've been using that as my mascara instead). It definitely gives length but volume, not so much. That is the biggest drawback for me oh and then lately now that my lashes are longer, it isn't holding my curl up as well, although, again, the black primer works better for that as well.

That is my take. Smiley Happy

Check "Blinc's" website. They make the regular and volume mascara.

I love it because I can wash it off with cleanser (I like Purity) and no tugging around my delicate eye skin.

Since it is tube mascara, the tubes slide right off. I have used it in the hottest weather and it stays put. For myself, I have never found a better mascara.

Happy, have you tried Blinc's mascara amplified? It is more for volume.

Also, I like their heated eyelash curler. Like hot rollers in the hair keeps the curl, when I put heat to my lashes the curl stays.

I too, love her cream shadows. My favorite is "Heather". I use it as my base then my "Jane Iredale's SuperNova". I have the "Pink Oyster" that I use for highlight and use JI's in "Shell or Allure over because it has a lot shimmer. I have a light beige but can't remember right now what the color is but I will check.

I'm so excited, I checked on "Jane Iredale" and she has a new "Forever Peach Just-Kissed Lip and Cheek Stain". Yippee Skippee{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

I did want to say that there are not many of her products that I don't like but I didn't care for the liquid eyeshadow.
