I've been looking for a good cream or lotion with an SPF since I'm outdoors playing tennis. Any suggestions? I sampled Clinique's, but for $29 it is awfully expensive when I use it so much. I was so close to getting it because for $30 I could have gotten a gift with purchase and felt annoyed about pricing it so that one has to buy something else....

Why not just purchase a sunblock like Neutrogena Dry Touch?

Or check for a chemical-free one. Jason and California Baby (drugstore.com) are listed as chemical free. I thought Hawiian Tropics was also, but you'll want to verify that. There's an Australian one that is supposed to be good but I can't remember the name. Bull Frog maybe?

I have used a regular sunscreen on the top of my hands rather than a product specifically made for hands. Works just as well.

I just read a good review of Supergoop hand cream spf 40, but it's a chemical sunscreen. I use Almay Perfect and Protect spf 15 which I order from Amazon (also a chemical sunscreen). If anyone has suggestions for a reasonably priced hand cream with physical spf, please share.

I've eyed hand creams with sunscreen, but I wash my hands pretty often so it wouldn't do me any good unless I used it right before going anywhere.

I think regular sunscreen would do the trick, especially if you're wearing sunscreen all over anyway.

You might want to to try Avon's Anew Clinical hand cream with SPF 15.

I've never found a hand cream with high enough zinc (which is my requirement), so ended up just using one for the body. It was impossible to even find that in the drug store, so I ended up ordering off the internet (one of the ones EWG rated highly).

If you don't find a hand cream, per se, that meets your requirements, you can always go the "regular" sun block route.

And kudos for being aware/concerned enough to protect your hands!

I believe Aveeno makes one .... check it out next time you're in a store.

I like Unscented Up&Up (Target). SPF 30. No scent whatsoever, and it's very good quality cream sunscreen in a large upright tube. It's heavenly soft on the hands, too. Not very greasy at all. Non irritating (and I'm sensitive). p.s. It's a sunscreen, not a "hand cream", but it works like a hand cream. It's in my car right now, so I'll update tomorrow with the particulars.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
